Mason Jones Pickett

Mason Jones Pickett

Mason Jones Pickett was born and raised in the Tri-Cities. He went to Richland High School, and was to graduate in June 1991; however, he left High School early to attend the University of Idaho. He graduated from the University of Idaho in August 1994, and majored in Psychology. He was Phi Beta Kappa. 


Mason Pickett went to law school at the University of Oregon, and started in 1995. He graduated from law school in December 1997. He worked for the University of Oregon’s in-house attorney after his first year of Law School, until her graduated. 


Mason Pickett was admitted to practice law in May 1998. He began working with his father, Michael R. Pickett. He primarily practiced family law and criminal law, until he began his partnership with Steven Defoe in 2009. 


Mason Pickett’s practice has been almost exclusively family law since 2009. In June 2023, Mason transitioned to his own firm, Pickett Law, PLLC where he and his staff continue to provide premium family law services to the Tri-Cities community.

Amy Crider

Amy Crider was born and raised in the Tri-Cities, where she attended Richland High School. She graduated from Washington State University in 2008 and began her career as a family law paralegal at Pickett Law, PLLC. In March of 2010, Amy Crider began the Washington State Bar Association’s Rule 6 Law Clerk program. The Law Clerk Program is an alternative to law school authorized under rule 6 of the Washington Supreme Courts Admission and Practice Rule (APR) 6. It is a four-year program designed to provide educational and practical experience through a combination of work and study with an experienced lawyer. Completion of the program qualifies participants to take the Washington lawyer bar examination. Amy successfully completed the law clerk program in the Spring of 2014 and passed the bar exam shortly thereafter. Amy was admitted to practice law in October 2014, and her practice has focused on family law, adoption, and Guardian ad Litem work. Amy acts as the supervising attorney at Pickett Law, PLLC by overseeing paralegal case management.
